Exploration of all aspect of Hatha Yoga – Asana, Pranyama, Bhanda, Mudra, Kriya and Diet. 30th May – 1st June 2008 ![]()
![]() The Integral Yoga Centre Swindon lead by Stephan (Siva) and Jennie (Janaki) will be holding a Yoga weekend at the beautiful and newly restored Victorian Town House (Penmellyn) in St. Columb Major in Cornwall. Penmellyn is an attractive spacious residence of character. Penmellyn was built to the design of William White and the property is listed in Betjemans Shell guide.
This week-end is suitable for those wishing to get a taste of a deeper practice of the art of Yoga. We will be looking at all the aspects of the branch of Hatha Yoga namely Asana, Pranayama, Bhanda, Mudra, Kriya and Diet. All are welcome.
It’s rare that we have the time and environment to ‘get away’ and enjoy the peace and beauty of the Yogic practices with skilled and experienced teachers. With open space to play Frisbee, fly Kites etc this promises to be a beautiful experience.

Muz Murray 12th-13th July 2008
This is truly a rare opportunity to study with one of the rare awakened Heart-Masters of mantric knowledge in the west.
![]() Muz Murray is a world-travelling mystic master with an international reputation, having given guidance for many years in his “SHARING THE QUEST” workshops—on Mantra, Mystical Awakening, Massage and Meditation—in many countries. He follows the way of the Universal Mystic—the Path of the Heart—embracing the essence of all traditions, but is attached to none.
In his workshops Muz Murray utilises the ancient application of the tantric-mantric art, in which we experience its profound effects on the body, mind and soul. Since the beginning of time all spiritual cultures have spoken of the mystery of Sound as the origin and motivational energy of the universe. Sages have always stated that attunement to primordial sound is the direct path to Enlightenment. The secrets of this living tradition have not been lost. In the workshop we explore the effects of vocalised sounds on the body, mind and spirit. We experience the different areas of the physical body which are governed, activated and energised by specific sounds. We learn ancient harmonics that awaken dormant centres of the brain, altering the quality of consciousness, creating a profound inner stillness and nourishing the needs of the soul.

Information on Classes: \ Level 1 is for those who have no or some experience in the practice of Hatha Yoga. After a few classes as we become more familiar with the postures (asana) we start to experience the dynamics of alignment. As our awareness increases we learn to see the whole bodies response to the postures and what we need to let go of on order to relax more deeply. Increased strength, balance and flexibility will be part of the experience. \ Level 2 is designed for those who have been practicing Integral Yoga Hatha regularly. New and stronger postures (asana) are introduced and some postures will be held for longer and more focus is given to pranayama (breathing practice), chanting and meditation. The focus becomes more inward and our practice is taking on a more meditative quality. \ Level 3 is the advanced level and is suitable for experienced practitioners with a good knowledge of all the postures taking their Hatha practice deeper. We continue a full class with asana (posture), pranayama (breathing) and meditation. \ Multi-Level is a combination of Level 1 and 2 and suitable as a stepping stone to level 2 classes. \ Meditation Class No experience necessary. \ Yoga for Kids Classes are usually held at local schools.
