Jane is an Aromatherapist, Reiki Practitioner and Yoga Teacher based in Salisbury. She has experienced for herself the healing and transformative power of Integral Yoga. Having worked as a secretary within busy offices from time to time, she has a realistic and practical attitude to life and also understands the pressure and stress people experience in the busy, modern world. She was encouraged by friends and family to become an Integral Yoga teacher, as there were classes of different Yoga traditions, but nobody providing an Integral Yoga class in Salisbury and the immediate areas. Having travelled a 60 mile round journey to attend a class herself, she was persuaded.
Jane started teaching Chair Yoga for the older generation and wheelchair users in Salisbury and has seen encouraging results; more strength and flexibility in the body, a more relaxed and happy state of being and a positive outlook.
She is in the process of setting up new classes, as well as continuing with her own practice and study, she believes Yoga can help all members of the community and should be available to everybody, regardless of age and ability. She loves the fact that within Integral Yoga and the classes there is the choice, freedom and scope to experience as little or as much as the individual feels comfortable with. Classes can be all things to all people, some may solely wish to experience the physical side of Yoga, whilst others go on to deepen their practice with reading material, satsang, retreats and workshops. There is also a great deal of support and friendship within Integral Yoga.
